Nestor Smith, President and CEO of The Smith Legal Group, LLC, concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial litigation and non-profit board governance. He is a member of the New Jersey Bar Association.

Mr. Smith represents a comprehensive list of health care providers, including: emergency responders, chiropractors, physical therapist, radiologists, spinal surgeons, orthopedic surgeons, pain management physicians, as well as a health network and surgical center. He counsels clients regarding various reimbursement models such as Provider Agreement and medical expense reimbursement.  As board counsel he oversees the endeavors of various board activities and stewards strategic planning. In addition, his clients include non-profit corporations, limited partnerships and other organizations engaged in the development and construction of housing facilities for persons of low- and moderate-income. He has also acted as local and special counsel to municipalities providing services to the under served community.

A 1999 graduate of Quinnipiac University School of Law and the University of Virginia, Mr. Smith has served as an adjunct professor at Stockton University and is a board member of The Noyes Museum of Art, Quality Care and Principled Schools. He formerly served on the board of the Freedom Academy Charter School, ADA Taskforce, and New Jersey Statewide Network for Cultural Competence and American Conference on Diversity.  He is a two-time recipient of the “Awesome Attorney” designation by South Jersey Magazine and the G. Larry James Achievement Award.
